11.02.2012 - 2013 Master Games Host City Announced
The Australian Masters Games has announced that Australia's largest sporting festival will be heading to Geelong in October 2013. With this being the fourteenth time that the Australian Masters Games have been staged, approximately 10,000 participants will again come together for a week long sporting festival that celebrates fun, fitness and a lifelong commitment to personal health and wellbeing through an active lifestyle. Geelong, host city for the second time in the history of the event, will provide a world class location for over 50 sporting events and provide a unique atmosphere and location for visiting participants. Geelong is fast becoming one of the premium major sporting event locations in Australia. Host of the 2010 UCI World Road Race Championships, the Geelong Multisport Festival and the annual Festival of Sails, the region is now set to play host to Australia's largest sporting festival, the 14th Australian Masters Games. Geelong boasts facilities such as the Geelong Baseball Centre, Kardinya Park Precinct and Simmonds Stadium, the new Leisurelink facility, Geelong Arena, Lesiuretime Centre, Eastern Park as well as multiple world class options for sports such as golf, cycling and more.

The more sharp eyed among you may have seen a new option on the Welcome screen called Sneak Peak. This magic button will give you a Sneak Peak at the new Baldivis Archery Club website currently in development.

23.12.2011 - Go East Young Man
Congratulations to Josh Kelly who makes his way to Armidale, NSW to compete in the 2012 Youth National Championships. Registration and Official Practice starts on Monday 2nd January and is followed by a calendar of Target, Matchplay, Clout and Field.
The championships will also be used to select the 2012 Trans Tasman Team to compete in New Zealand in April.
Well done Josh, we wish you the best in Armidale and will be cheering you on.
17.12.2011 - WA State Team update
In another move confirming Baldivis Archery Club as a major force to be reckoned with, both Brad Hipper and Tony Middleton have been selected for the WA State Team in 2012.
Both Brad and Tony will compete in the Mens Open Recurve after excellent performances during the 2011 season. This is the second notification in as many weeks for Brad who has had an excellent season and Tony hasn't been slouching either, with a number of recent PB's and State records.
Well done Brad and Tony, we wish you both well in the coming 2012 season.
10.12.2011 - State Aggregate Champion 2011 for Open Mens Recurve
After another excellent year, Brad Hipper was announced as the State Aggregate Champion 2011 in the Open Mens Recurve division.
Brad is the second of our esteemed members to be notified by Archery WA of a State Aggregate Championship for 2011, establishing Baldivis Archery Club as a major contributor to top class competitors in the sport.
Well done Brad for an excellent years worth of archery and good luck for the coming 2012 season.
30.11.2011 - State Aggregate Champion 2011 for Mens Longbow and Barebow Recurve
Last Saturday Stan and Harry Finch had the opportunity to see there Dad, Ian Finch receive not only his 1st class Longbow Target award, but a Trophy from Archery WA for the State Aggregate Champion 2011 for Longbow and Barebow Recurve.
The Finch brothers congratulated their Dad on a great year of archery results. A year in which he not only won The State Clout and State Barebow Field, but the Breakfast Field and Junior Longbow at the Old Coots Shoot.
Well done Ian for an excellent years worth of archery and good luck for the coming 2012 season.
